I haven't looked at it, but try playing with New Turn Order Rules = OFF. If that doesn't work let us know and I'll look into it.

That worked, thanks!

Mons 14 ending on first turn?

I was attempting to play the Mons 14 scenario as the Entente against the German PO and it ended after the first turn in an overwhelming Entente victory. Any idea what might cause this to happen?

RE: Can anyone tell me what role supply units play?

<t> Thanks for the replies, everyone. I apparently can't read - straight from the manual:<br/>
<br/>
Supply Units: Increases the Supply Level in each supplied location that can trace a<br/>
path no longer than the Supply Radius to the Supply unit. Additionally, Supply units<br/>
multiply supply ...

Thank you for all the feedback. By the way, this was for the Tannenberg tutorial scenario. I was using the "I" hotkey to display ranges and noted that all of the HQ units in the game ...

Can anyone tell me what role supply units play?

<t> So, I think I actually have a pretty good handle on the basic in's & out's of supply in the TOAW engine - in no small part thanks to Oberst Klink's '42 tutorial on supply and logistics but...I load up the Balkans '12 scenario and what do I see? Both sides field actual supply units. To my ...

RE: Bombardment vs Assault

<t> Thank you for all the feedback. By the way, this was for the Tannenberg tutorial scenario. I was using the "I" hotkey to display ranges and noted that all of the HQ units in the game technically had a firing range of 1 hex, but I was/am unable to figure out how you would actually employ those ...

Bombardment vs Assault

<t> A dumb question...<br/>
<br/>
I have an artillery unit with a firing range of 2 hexes. If I move this artillery unit adjacent to an enemy unit (probably not a good idea in practice, but hear me out) and then hover over the enemy unit, it's "right click to bombard".<br/>
<br/>
I also have an ...

RE: Basic movement question

<r> Vielen Dank, Oberst - I'm definitely planning on running through your tutorials as my next step, I am just giving the manual a cursory once-through to help me understand some of the basic mechanics first. <E>:)</E><br/>
<br/>
Another question I ran into is some ambiguity (in my mind) about the ...

RE: Basic movement question

Perfect, thank you!

How about attacking INTO a river hex? Does that come with a penalty?

Basic movement question

<t> I'm giving the manual a quick once-through before diving into some tutorials, and I have run into what I think is probably a very elementary question about movement costs.<br/>
<br/>
Quoting from the manual:<br/>
<br/>
"All Land units can cross Canals and Rivers at an additional Movement ...

RE: Thinking of trying TOAW - need some advice...

<t> Thank you for the advice!<br/>
<br/>
Does anyone know if the out of the box scenarios are pretty good about telling you if, for example, high supply needs to be enabled? The thought I could get hours into a scenario before noticing something from an optional rule perspective was out of whack ...

Thinking of trying TOAW - need some advice...

<t> Hi - I have had the itch to get back into some operational wargaming and have had TOAW on my radar for a very long time, but never dove in. In my wargaming background, I've played the daylights out of pretty much the entire Close Combat series as well as extensive time in SSG's Battles in ...
