Re: Tacview Not Working

Hi guys! Just in case somebody noticed the same issue:

First, make sure you graphic drivers are up to date.

In Tacview 1.9.0 I have improved the way I am initializing the OpenGL renderer to better match official OpenGL guidelines for Windows. It is possible that never updated or out of date Intel ...

Hello,

I am Vyrtuoz the creator of Tacview, I am posting this bug report on behalf of Dimitris.

One of our users (Command+Tacview) has noticed a strange behavior of the formation flights displayed in the 3D view.
Some of the planes in groups are jittery compared to the others.

RE: TACVIEW Aircraft Stuttering Bug

<t> Hi HypOps,<br/>
<br/>
There is no collision management in Tacview and it is accurate enough to display aircraft formation without jittering.<br/>
<br/>
Therefore, I believe this might be a timing issue between the update of the different objects visible your video. Such as coordinates being ...

Thank you.

You can copy/paste %TEMP%\Tacview.log in windows explorer, this should option Tacview log file.

Usually this correspond to C:\Windows\Temp\ but it depends on your system settings and your temp folder may be in another location.

<t> With the help of CMO team, we have identified several cases when the data was not properly transferred between CMO and Tacview. This could trigger “Real time telemetry not compatible” message or various errors in the 3D visualization.<br/>

I believe that some fixes are on their way, stay ...

Thank you for the detailed feedback.

I think that Tacview does not know these aircraft yet.

I am going to add them to its database. This should be fixed in next week beta update.
