Looking for a gamer named "Strong Yankee"

Admins can feel free to move this post to an appropriate forum if this is the wrong one.

I'm looking for a gamer that used to go by the handle "Strong Yankee" some years ago, or perhaps even recently. I know he was active in probably more than one computer wargaming forum/website, although it may ...

Nothing but maps. All kinds of maps - battles, campaigns, sea campaigns, political maps, economic maps, etc. Black & White. Excellent.
I know the edition shown is out of print, but I think there are newer editions that might not be.

Still has the masking tape with the last four of my SSN on it.

Hmm, I don't remember having to do that.

Just to make this thread at least somewhat interesting for lurkers, here's the stuff I'm talking about:

Re: Any USAF Veterans from the 1980s Here?

Was in the USAF from 1978 to 1987. Didn't attend basic at Lackland, but was close. Medina Annex at OTS.

I went through basic there in early 1983 and I'm merely wondering whether anyone still has any of the "kit" they issued to basic trainees.
I stayed in for seven years.

I still have the ink ...

Any USAF Veterans from the 1980s Here?

Is there anyone here who went through USAF basic training at Lackland AFB in the early to mid-1980s?

Can't Activate Shrapnel Account

Does anyone here know what I need to to do to activate a new account at Shrapnel Games? Or how to re-activate an old one?
I had an account there some years ago, but don't go there very often (even less than I visit here), and I'm not getting any response when I ask them to send me a new password ...

Complete Carriers At War for Win7?

Anyone have any luck running, or even installing, the old Complete Carriers at War on a Win7 (specifically 32-bit) system?
(Note that this is not the Matrix re-release, but the old SSG release.)

<t> Great games.<br/>
Concerning the Game Details they list though, I think the release date for at least Beyond Overlord is wrong. They have it as January 11, 2001, when I remember with certainty that I was playing it on election day, November 7, 2000. I even remember which scenario I played ...

I find that even if come here every day, I still have to log in every time. Is there a way to stay logged in permanently, or at least for, say, a week or two at a time?
