RE: 1942 German Manpower Settings Debate

Ah so I should just keep them at the minimum needed to not go unready and increase the maximum TOE% as needed?

RE: 1942 German Manpower Settings Debate

<t> When I play the late scenarios as the Axis, I put the TOE of German HQs at 91% and the TOE of German mobile units that will never withdraw or disband at 76%, unless they are not needed or about to die or something. I think those are the lowest numbers without a movement/command penalty. All ...

You are probably right. It would be bad for morale if the headlines said "3 divisions mauled in France!" instead of "German offensive halted!".

nearly all of those would be infantry right? The division would probably be like 8,000 artillery/support men why didn't they just disband it?

<t> There is no feature because the allied advance is historical no matter what, I believe they have some advancing for the allies if you survive after may 8th but its still unchangeable. If you want to make the game more difficult, you can put divisions on 100% TOE, and put them in areas where they ...

turn 1 was probably the worst axis opening i have ever seen, i dont think anyone could have recovered from 2 clear turns lost.

You might have lost the factories that produce them before they started to be mass produced.

Are there any AAR's from the german side in the later campains?

<t> I have been looking for AAR's from the German side on the 42-45 and 43-45 grand campaigns and i haven't found any, I also haven't found any videos on Youtube. Night Phoenix was doing a campaign but he deleted his channel. I literally cant find any content on these scenarios anywhere. If anyone ...

How do I install Jisons map mod and a rainy day in russia with the steam version of the game?

<t> Almost none of the links to the mods and the JSMGE thing work, and I don't know which folder to put the mods in. I haven't found a single working link to the JSMGE thing, which you need to get the mods to work. Also i dont think the mods are compatible with the latest version of the game. I dont ...

RE: WitE 2

<t> it would be cool if there were no scheduled arrivals/departures, just scheduled increases and decreases in what all other fronts need, so you still lose the same amount of troops at the same times, but you chose which ones you get rid of so you don't have a division holding an important position ...

RE: What do I do with the Axis air force in the Stalingrad to Berlin campaign?

Wow, that was a really detailed answer. Thanks. I still have one question though. Their fighters don't really do anything to my ground forces, or at least not much, so why would I want to do fighter intercept? or is fighter intercept my own fighters, intercepting their planes?

RE: Is it practical to send all your bombers, transport, patrols, and most recon to the east?

Amphibious HQ's can be destroyed by bombers, right? So the Allies cant land if you destroy their amphibious HQ, so having a ton of bombers swarm them when regardless of losses could in theory prevent any further invasions?

Is it practical to send all your bombers, transport, patrols, and most recon to the east?

<t> The Allies have air superiority to some degree from the beginning to the end of the game, so any bombing, patrol, recon, or transport directive is going to be somewhat ineffective, and take pretty heavy losses. I was wondering if you could bolster the Eastern front with all of these aircraft, so ...
