How fast can you make Georgia howl?

After some plays of Blue vs Grey, I came to appreciate Making Georgia Howl, the 1864 scenario, because of its brevity.

It can obviously be won easily, playing the Union, but I wonder how fast this can be done. The Confederates are pretty resilient, even in the face of defeat. I just achieved Union ...

Must be using diplomacy heavy.

Absolutely. Axis diplomacy is blitzing the State Department so hard, that everyone there is driving a Mercedes by now :)

Axis Play: No DOWs

<r> I was curious as to what would happen if the Axis will not issue one single declaration of war, ever. By extension, this ought to also prevent the US from ever entering the war.<br/>

Did or does the bug affect LONG RANGE AMPHIP in War In Europe ? I am considering to start a Sea Lion game there and that would be a bad idea without those.

RE: Yugoslavia diplomacy seems pointless for Axis

<t> You have to be fast with Yugoslawia, because it is really frustrating to have them turn Allied by Event with you having turned them by 95%. It is even more frustrating to see them having the same number of units and partisans after you invaded them. One would think that all this diplomacy might ...

RE: Micro landings.

<r> As others, I found the one single British landing in the Levante quite interesting. It was easy to deal with militarily, although the troops nescessary to destroy the British unit in Aleppo required some shuffling on the Caucausus and Palestine fronts. <br/>

RE: Cannot defeat the Soviets

<t> Ok, so now I did it. In September ´44 the Allies sued for peace. I had taken Moscow still in 1943 and after that victory was certain and the game became a bit tedious, just as it was with World At War. Defense of Moscow was stiff, but as the Germans flanked them on their left, it suddenly broke ...
