The sce was the renamed extension from zip.
so is that what you did? copied 1B05F9049FCB4353A58B078609C75F6E.sce to the scenario directory?

what name did you give the scenario file?

If I look at the set advanced player option, I cannot exit the menu. I have to use task manager to end the program.
Not a well designed piece of software.

I had it in that folder. guess its a dodgy piece of software or the scenario file I downloaded is shite.
Can the original creator of the scenario help out?

I tried the graphic folder. let pact make first turn then when nato turn started I could not move a unit or do anything.

did as you say. when it came time to play NATO side, I could not do anything. could not move a unit or attack.
I stored 1992 World War III.sce under folder Modern - NATO vs Warsaw Pact.

I cannot seem to get this game to work. I select player vs player before starting. Game turn 1 has Warsaw Pact to start but I cannot move any units.
Nothing I do when I click on a unit seems to work.

Any suggestions what might be going on?

Seems to be working now. Wait about 15 seconds after launch before cursor can click button

I went back and reloaded .20 from MyPage on Matrix site and now the game will load but I have to wait about a minute first.
Any ideas why? I could check Windows event viewer but any easier suggestions would be appreciated.

<t> I went back and uninstalled version .40 and installed version .20 and the buttons don't work for that either. I did a restart in between these tasks.<br/>
The previous time I ran .20 was on a different PC where I did not have this problem.<br/>
Installing patch .21 did not help either ...

I changed the nosound parameter to Y, but it did not help. Game still hangs.I have left it for over a minute and buttons still don't work.
I had no such problems with previous version of this game so this is really disappointing.

<t> I noticed if I go into Sound folder under My Games, file explorer hangs but eventually displays the contents. But if I go into SOunds folder under Matrix Games, I see a list of folders and a bunch of ogg files. But again it hangs. Maybe it has something to do with the folder structure.<br/>

I noticed I have to wait about a 40 seconds then the New Game button responds. It shows a file directory listing. I close it then click new game again then finally the scenario lists appear. I did not have this behaviour in previous versions

When I start the game I get the main screen and the music plays. But none of the buttons like Load Game New Game Quit Game are working.

I have noticed no allies units appearing when the message says at the start of the turn you have reinforcements. Axis units appear to outnumber allies about a third of the way into the game. Has other players noticed this?
