PBEM++ server trouble?

I can connect to the server and download my opponents turn, but as soon as I click 'save' it tells me "error connecting to server -5" and kicks me out of the game. Is that on my end or happening to anyone else?

Re: Here‘s 420MPPs, little Hans

Thanks for so much input! To try and summarize one more time:

Tactical planning:
(1) If I'm engaged in heavy fighting, keeping my frontline units' strength up should be priority. The same goes for upgrading them.

Strategic planning:
(2) Research would be the next priority (with exceptions ...

Here‘s 420MPPs, little Hans

But don‘t forget, this turn you have to:

Research tanks - 175MPPs
Repair u-boats - 200MPPs
Upgrade infantry - 300MPPs
Repair infantry - 250MPPs
Operate/ship units - 100MPPs
Buy bombers, buy tanks, buy mechanized infantry, buy AA and that army that got destroyed a while back - 1500MPPS :shock ...

Re: Targeting the guy with the stars

Platoonist wrote: Sat Dec 07, 2024 2:45 am Seems like a good idea. Just make sure the target HQ doesn't have a hidden flak buddy he's really "attached" to.
But would you say - from your experience - that's it's generally more efficient than targeting frontline troops?

Targeting the guy with the stars

If there's an enemy HQ in range of my Tac/Med bombers (but behind the frontline), does it make sense to bomb it instead of attacking the troops in front?
Every bit of damage should reduce the buff and extra supply it distributes, right?

Not if we all keep quiet about it! ;)
Also, sorry to ask this but could you look over the full world map again? In some places like Europe the way it's lined up is a bit wonky.

Dropbox link

world.png is the whole WaW map.
I have a world.xcf for editing in GIMP file but it is 1.29 Gb (each screenie is embedded in it) and overloaded my DB limit.

Awesome! Old_Shane won't know what hit him once I start planning my moves like this. I really think a big picture like this ...

Detailed picture of the world map

Is there a way to generate a giant image file of the entire map zoomed-in? I like to scribble plans on it, but for that I always have to take a bunch of screenshots to try and capture where the action is happening.

LF beginner opponent to play ALLIES

Hi,
I'm looking for an opponent for a friendly match that we can both learn from and maybe also chat about. I'm reasonably sure I can beat the normal AI, but I don't know how to do any crazy strats I see in AARs. I don't know how to counter you surrendering Italy in turn 2 by taking a left at ...

Inexperienced Player looking for opponent

Hey, I got about 10 games or so under my belt, but all against a friend of mine and neither of us know that Much about the game. I can manage a turn a day and would prefer to play Axis but can play Allies as well. I‘m looking for a 1939 game.

I‘d be your opponent. I have about 9 games under my belt, some axis some allies. I can manage a turn a day and I got Steam if you want to chat about the match.

Save a multiplayer game as singleplayer?

<t> Now I know that the above question sounds like it shouldn‘t be possible, but I‘m asking regardless: Is it possible to convert a multiplayer match into a singleplayer game? Or maybe change the opponent or something?<br/>

I think the information above is out of date and you should only annex Lithuania if you plan to Barbarossa in 1940, since they'll mobilize quite rapidly otherwise.
