I think you have a food shortage and your confusion comes from the fact that emergency food consumption does not show in the food stock tooltip.

This turn's consumption was equal to:
709 + 1183 + 950 + 1204 + 1250 + 388 = 5 684... This is equal to the start of turn stockpile.

This is correct ...

Logistics points are never converted into a different type. However, once placed on the map, truck and rail logistics points are completely interchangeable, so supply brought to the end of a rail line by train can be delivered the rest of the distance by any locally available truck LP just fine.

The existing list of OOBs is incredibly bloated with slight variations of pointless garbage. The only existing OHQs I'd keep are pure armor, light infantry, (heavy) MG/RPG/grenadiers, and motorized/mechanized variants thereof. Everything else in the list is either useless or can be trivially ...

I checked out the save, and I can't see any reason why the transfer between the SHQs is unavailable either. There seems to be a contiguous line of unspent logistics points.

The default chance of a hit being a kill is only 12%, so combined with the limited window of opportunity to engage a target before it retreats off the field, it can sometimes take quite a lot of effort kill off an unit without encircling it (which is obviously not possible with sea creatures).

This is the first time I've seen anyone claim to have evidence that shields have ever offered any protection against asset damage. The only mentions of shields in the changelogs are related to personal shields, not shield generators.

Do you have enough energy storage? Energy in excess of what you can store can't be used. You get a low amount of energy storage from population, but it's not sufficient for an advanced economy.

A subunit, which is the smallest increment of troops tracked by the game, is 100 infantry or 10 vehicles or guns.

Hitpoint bonuses from entrenchment and from being unspotted are multiplicative with each other, like most modifiers. Entrenchment has no effect on whether something can be spotted.

If you want units to turn down replacements of a certain quality but keep any they already have, you have to set that quality to Tolerated in the unit settings. They will also swap Tolerated quality models for Accepted ones.

That depends on whether Midcore Logistics is on or off.

If it's off, logistics must be split at intersections, but if the branches join together at a later point, the logistics points will be added up.

If it's on, the full amount of available logistics is sent into every branch at intersections ...

Have you checked that the mech artillery model is set to a quality level that's accepted in the unit's settings? If it's only tolerated, then replacements of the model won't be sent out. Though by default, all quality levels are accepted.

Like with regular techs, in most cases, the effects apply to any new model designs you create. I don't know whether the effects show in MNG -> Models -> Techs like with regular techs.
