For fleets, go to the Advanced Ship Actions (on the right) and it will allow you to rename Fleets (left pane, write icon). For Capital Ships, hover over the ship in the fleet menu and you can rename it by clicking on the write icon.

Having played Strategic Command WWII, and the 1939 Campaign since it's release, I note a large discrepancy in Soviet income. A playthrough on 6.26.2024 shows income of 427 MPPs as of 3.2.40 while a 7.21.2024 playthrough shows income of 248 as of 3.2.40! Same '39 campaign, same settings, same ...
