Looks nice but I'd have to un-train my brain in order to stop seeing a flat world dotted with sinkholes! (As mentioned, elevation is usually depicted with a lighter shade.)

Yes, agreed with all of the above points. I found the AI to be as good as random in terms of identifying and defending key locations, and attacking intelligently. Often key locations would not be defended _at all_ or, somewhat hilariously, would have a few trucks lingering there instead. Essentially...

"Contour elevation lines" - would it be possible to add drop shadows to the elevation lines like it is in vanilla game? Without the drop shadows is not possible to see if the is a hill or a valley That's not really how contour lines work but the game does help in making that distinction b...

The amount of detail (aka. clutter) reduces the higher up the map is viewed from, with maximum detail at 'ground level' detail, and minimum detail at 'situation level' detail. I've been fiddling with adding contour lines to the map... contours.jpg (...as well as a few other simple visual clarity tweaks.) Here it at 40%, let me know if this helps or not. I can also try 30% and if that fails I can remove it. I'm not trying to have a pop at you but 80-90% of your post screen size is signature fluff; eats up a lot of screen acreage and makes the forum awkward to scan. Getting rid of sig images entirely...

Is that what they are then, temporary fortification names left in / not completed when the scenario was built?

Not all forts have these dots so presumably they don't need to have dots left in them.

White Dots On The Map

I see white dots on the map, as follows...

They only appear on Fortification locations but not on all Fortification locations. Most visible at night.

What are they?

At anything other than 100% zoom the post body font looks nasty - all spidery and difficult to scan-read. It's not great at 100% either. Can we choose another font for post body text?
