Yes indeed! Waiting for the release is the hardest part. Its on my wish list because of everything listed in this discussion thread and more. God's speed to the developers.

I liked the one week turns variation because it gave the player the feeling that they were in an epic wrestling match.

One week turns didn't seem right after playing it for a while, so I'm gonna give two week turns a good look.

I really like the weekly turns. It has made for a very interesting game.

It may be too much tech for some, but for me there isn't enough! I ran out of things to research by mid 1863.

Maybe bi-weekly turns might extend things?
