I've updated VAdjust for 1.26.k2. I've also extensively commented and colored the csv so maybe it'd be easier for someone else to update or learn from in the future, that's available here.

Don't really the the problem with that save. It is a low-pop world, and there is plenty money for the player without selling anything. The population doesn't have much money so it doesn't buy luxuries. If money is needed, rares and high-tech are still in demand.

GR is not that powerful, just get some units that hard counter that type. You can roll over AIs with GR, but you can roll over AI with anything.

Yes, injecting code is easy, but making sense of the decompiled code to properly modify it is not, and that's what I mean.

It's really not that hard. And having source would not make it any easier- there's simply a lot of code and complexity to SE. Any sort of modern IDE will handle the IL ...

It's not real source code. Sure, symbols make it easier to understand decompiled code, but you still can't really easily patch it (and redistribute). If somebody could spare a great deal of effort , it could probably be patched with tricks used to mod games like 7d2d, but if the source code was ...

I think the current modding support is neat and allows to do a lot, most of it is unexplored, although some things are impractical to do, particularly the modify existing tables tool, which is very powerful but was not very intuitive to use.

It already has kind of mod support, depending on what level of WH40kization you are trying to achieve... But of course it would benefit from opening the source code so modders can have full access.

You can look around at the game code all you want. The game literally ships with symbol files ...

If you find yourself suddenly drained of all money, check Theft column in your staff management: often one of your advisors manages to embezzle insane amounts of credits, thus grinding the national economy to halt.

it is extremly funny, that you wrote tthat devs can allways review fixed code by comunity. well, now just show to me that this reviewing will be actualy faster than just directly fixing code by themself.

yes, fixing game reqires budeget and it will be that way forever.
outsourcing fixing of game to comunity is very double edged sword - since you have no guarantee that comunity will be capable and dont screw up more things that thay fix, if they fix anything in first place.

This kind of a business model creates a perverse initiative to pump out "content" for more DLC to buy, instead of fixing the game mechanics and balance (that has to be free). Just look at what it has done to Stellaris (and other Paradox games). I'd rather see fundraisers for specific goals, like ...

At what point would you want to expel population? I never understood why you would need to.


It's a great stratagem to quickly decrease unrest. Not much population gets expelled anyway, usually it's 1-2k, and the unrest loss is worth it.
