Re: Finnish Features in Steel Inferno

Unfortunately not. I too would like to see the Finish front in the main campaign starting in 41.
Or even a Finish campaign with the map expanded all the way up to Petsamo.

Greetings! I hope you're still having fun with this game.
Yes I do, but not played for a long while. Just now went to the forum to check up on the game before beginning a new main campaign. I like the new beta stuff coming around.

Re: It's so frustrating!

I usually also do not play multiplayer mainly for the same reason. The historical perspectives is more interesting to me than painting the map in my colors. In a time consuming game like this it is really necessary to keep up the spirit even when things are going bad, and maintain the enjoyment for ...

Re: Warplan - early review from a new player

The more systems put into the game the more difficult the balancing will be. Maybe national focus options could be implemented. But I feel this is already partly incorporated into the game. I don't think it would be beneficial to introduce a complex industry and research system like in BICE for HOI3 ...

1st game I learned.... the hard way with a rules lawyer that gave me the rules when it was convenient for him.

When learning others the rules verbally, you risk the suspicion of bending the rulles to fit one's own ends! :D

The folder swap did it.
And as Im playing both sides, the problem with Poland surrender can be resolved by some Polish benzai assaults to speed up the process...

The folders 5 and 9 were swapped

Re: TRP - Total Realism Project for War in Europe (1.5 Download)

Hi, Im starting playing your great mod, and stumbled on two possible bugs.
After taking Warsaw I expected Poland to surrender, but it did not. Not even late October, so I am redirecting forces back to removing the remaining Polish units with the expectation that they will then surrender. This seems ...

Re: End of the Tournament and Winners Announcement

Thanks!
it was hard fought matches. Some was undecided until the end and some were decided in the first few turns. Great scenario, a mini Barbarossa campaign. Well it is a huge area but limited forces to begin with.
I didn't expect me to do as well as I did, but somehow my strategies worked in the ...

Re: The Grozny Gambit: RtC tournament final, K62 Axis

Congratulations to K62 for the convincing victory and clever gameplay.
I was the one at the mostly receiving end. It was a tough game for the Soviets. In the opening week, most of the front armies were cut off and destroyed. So I had little to start building defense lines with from start. The only ...

Thanks Joel,
I did try to climp the Elbrus and claim the points but for some reason the first expedition couldn't find the mountain! It was a Romanian Cav brig. So instead a nearby Gebirgsjeager brig was dispatched, but they too failed to find the mountain as the points didnt manifest. In the ...

Re: Tournament Chat Room

The 3th round between Joch1955 and me has ended.
The match: Joch1955 as Soviet and beamslam as Axis ended with the points 2508 to 1926. 0.76 to1. Soviet Minor victory.
The other match reversed, ended in a major Soviet victory. (have not the exact numbers)

As German, I struggled supplying both my ...

I think that is an interesting idea with the mirrored matches.
One week extra would be nice, and if not all are ready by then, maybe another week could be added.

Re: Tournament Chat Room

Thank you terry1040 for a exiting and very tense match, only decided in the very last turn!

Re: Tournament Chat Room

As reapegan unfortunately did not do the last two turns, I will make a report of the match played so far.
The end result would be a major Soviet victory. The last two turns would not have changed the outcome much anyway.

The Axis plan appears to be an aggressive drive towards Astrakhan with a Pz ...

Adding the Continuation War to the main campaign

The new DLC with part of the Finnish Continuation War is a much welcome addition. Also, it would make the East front more complete if it were integrated in the main campaign, possible with the whole Finnish front up to Murmansk. For me this would complete the experience much better. Hope to see this ...

Re: Crown of Glory 2022

I like the details in this game but it is not updated for moderns screens! that is like watching a old movie on a modern digital screen with black bars on the sides, and wondering how it would be like to see it all filling the screen.
An updated version would be very nice.
For now I prefer Empires ...
