Re: EIA v1.27.03 Beta Hotfix #4 Available

So the ghosts may have been the dead soldiers from the battle at Berlin in the fall of 1813 maybe!

One more less scary issue: The text in the Unit Report window looks bad on my end, might be because the game is not using a Windows font?

Here is the May battle file just before the battle resolution. The leader displacements seems to happen after the battle and the AI Coalition land move.

Ah, here it is.
Tried to replace the leaders with the admin function but didn't work. Nap was removed to exile and Alex just disappeared.

The Third Party Combat seems to work. I will try changing the values in a file before re-importing and if something odd turns up I'll report it here.

Re: EIA v1.27.03 Beta Hotfix #4 Available

More observations...
After a battle, the two leaders in command swopped place! So that Alexander stayed on the field alone while his army withdrew to berlin. And Napoleon follow the Russians all the way to Berlin alone!

I forgot to rename the battle files before importing them back in, that ...

Re: EIA v1.27.03 Beta Hotfix #4 Available

Hello, Good to see this game is still being worked on!
Having a few notices after playing with the latest update version.
The 1813 scenario. French solo. The date is now February 1814.

I'm not an experienced player so might have missed some other issues. The interface is a bit weird sometimes, when ...

Re: A thought experiment about the game

What if the AI instead of building the code could play the gabe by "reading" the rules and playing within the rule parameters. But this is a complex game, and it would also need to know how to play it in order to win it. And this game is just much more than hit the enemy where the odds are optimal ...

Re: Finnish Features in Steel Inferno

Unfortunately not. I too would like to see the Finish front in the main campaign starting in 41.
Or even a Finish campaign with the map expanded all the way up to Petsamo.

Greetings! I hope you're still having fun with this game.
Yes I do, but not played for a long while. Just now went to the forum to check up on the game before beginning a new main campaign. I like the new beta stuff coming around.

Re: It's so frustrating!

I usually also do not play multiplayer mainly for the same reason. The historical perspectives is more interesting to me than painting the map in my colors. In a time consuming game like this it is really necessary to keep up the spirit even when things are going bad, and maintain the enjoyment for ...

Re: Warplan - early review from a new player

The more systems put into the game the more difficult the balancing will be. Maybe national focus options could be implemented. But I feel this is already partly incorporated into the game. I don't think it would be beneficial to introduce a complex industry and research system like in BICE for HOI3 ...

1st game I learned.... the hard way with a rules lawyer that gave me the rules when it was convenient for him.

When learning others the rules verbally, you risk the suspicion of bending the rulles to fit one's own ends! :D

And as Im playing both sides, the problem with Poland surrender can be resolved by some Polish benzai assaults to speed up the process...

Hi, Im starting playing your great mod, and stumbled on two possible bugs.

it was hard fought matches. Some was undecided until the end and some were decided in the first few turns. Great scenario, a mini Barbarossa campaign. Well it is a huge area but limited forces to begin with.
I didn't expect me to do as well as I did, but somehow my strategies worked in the ...

Re: The Grozny Gambit: RtC tournament final, K62 Axis

Congratulations to K62 for the convincing victory and clever gameplay.
I was the one at the mostly receiving end. It was a tough game for the Soviets. In the opening week, most of the front armies were cut off and destroyed. So I had little to start building defense lines with from start. The only ...

The other match reversed, ended in a major Soviet victory. (have not the exact numbers)
