For most weapons, an M is basically just two S's. Some M's will have a slightly better fire rate or slightly better/worse intercept fire rate. All M's are more efficient when it comes to crew size. ex: S takes 5 crew but M takes 8 crew, so 1 M is more crew efficient than 2 S weapons.

Can anyone explain how weapon counter measures work. I'm talking about the "weapon counter measures" attached to seeking weapons' such as missiles and torpedo's.
