Unless I've missed something in the manual or the like, you just gotta get enough recruits and play enough of the game that you start to learn those things. For example, 38? That's great for a cap 1, pretty decent for a cap 2, passable for a cap 3 and just bad for cap 4 or 5.

For reference: Win+Shift+S brings up the snipping tool overlay, at least in Win10.

I remember seeing somewhere that Mechanized Artillery gets the HQ posture bonuses for mechanized forces, which means mechanized artillery can get extra attack from postures like blitzkrieg or elastic defense.
