RE: Atomic bombs

<t> Acceptance of Japan's emperor was the main sticking point for Japan's War Council, the six-person decision-making body over which Emperor Hirohito nominally presided. The council members were cognizant of Japan's dire predicament, but not necessarily ready to surrender unconditionally. They were ...

<t> BJGeary, that is also propaganda.<br/>
<br/>
By the time of the bombing Japan was already looking for a way to surrender, but with one condition... The emperor was to remain as the head of state. It was not until the US assured the Japanese that the Emperor would remain as head of state that ...

RE: Orbat Questions

Alvaro, I will post the Asiatic Fleet for 1 Sept, 1939 next. In both formats. In detail, and in the format you can use for the WP games. [:)] Just in case there are folks who would like to have all of the details. [:)]

As a fun post and a sneak peak into what will be added, if Alvaro approves, is the USAAF 14th Air Force in May 1945.

BTW, the 14th was headquartered at Kunming China. [:)]

<r> Thanks for the compliments guys, they really inspire me.<br/>
<br/>
With the scale that Alvaro has in the WP games it is easy to convert that orbat to his scale. For example, a Destroyer Division would be 1 DD Group in the game. If I have the scale correct that is. [:)]<br/>

RE: Worst Japanese First Turn Port Strikes, Ever

Alvaro, just as a design question, when an RNG call is made by the engine do you use a new seed each time the call is made? Or does the engine generate a ton of rolls and then just follow that list as the RNG calls are made?

Worst Japanese First Turn Port Strikes, Ever

<t> I just started a new game as the Japanese, and I must say, the RNG of this strike was so bad that it took my breath away. [X(]<br/>
<br/>
After both strikes the only thing bottomed was the New Orleans CA Sqdn. However, NOTHING was sunk... [X(]<br/>
<br/>
Then in the followup strikes on ...
