Re: Scott's Guide to DW2 available to download (version 3.0 - Aurora Update))

Hmm, a bug, then? That might be the reason why I can't remember having seen "Falajian Spice" in any of my recent games.

Re: Scott's Guide to DW2 available to download (version 3.0 - Aurora Update))

Still a great guiude, helped me (again) after taking a months-long break from DW2.

I've found an inconsistency:
Your overview of panets' and moons' ressources (page 54) lists "Megallos Nut" as a resource for Marshy Swamps. According to the Galactopedia it is only available on forest and continental ...

This is a great guide, and it helped me a lot getting into DW2. Thanks, Scott.

<t> The Islands north of Munda/east of Buin (hexes 100/34, 101/33, 102/33 and 103/32) are a death trap for any non-marine unit. I've landed an infantry division there, and while I can move it to any of the four hexes mentioned I cannot move them anywhere else (not even to the two port hexes Buin and ...

RE: Anchor symbol

It shows how much effectiveness your ships lose because of distance to the closest port. Two anchors mean 12% loss, one anchor means 24% loss, no anchor 36% loss. How far you can go without loss depends on the port size (see page 74 of the online manual for details).

Breaking enemy codes

Does breaking enemy codes (60 COMINT Points) actually work? By now I've wasted several hundred COMINT Points (eight or nine attempts) already, but none of the attempts was successful.

RE: Enemy Ships Stacking With Friendly -- and

<t> I moved an Allied fleet with six units (2 CV, 2 CA, 2 DD) into a hex, then ended my turn. The Japanese AI moved a submarine stack (4 SS) into the same hex, and in the next turn all ships were in the same fleet. I was even able to select the Japanese subs and move them separately. Once I had ...

RE: Enemy Ships Stacking With Friendly -- and

Unfortunately the stacking problem still seems to be around, I just experienced it in a 1941 game (limited fleet size, most recent patch).
