Agreed. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the ion storms completely, i.e like terraforming? Or through the game editor? I haven't tinkered around with it enough to know. I ask because the borders of my empire have big holes in them where the systems with these storms raging are present ...

Has anyone figured out a solution to this? Do Ion Defense Modules actually prevent being disabled in these storms? I have two near my home system, one that happens to house an enemy empire, making it impossible to attack them.
