I have managed to change the color but for some reason black/grey always comes out more light/white for me. I am wondering if there is a day time overlay affecting it because I have a save game at dusk and I notice the twilight overlay affects the color of the hex grid. If you min/max the slider on ...

That's awesome, thanks. I set alpha to #61 which looks nice and subtle for me. I couldn't get the color to change but I'm happy with just that extra bit of transparency.

Would it be possible to add a color and transparency option for the hex grid lines on the game colors option screen. The default is kinda too bright which creates visual clutter. Would prefer a more subtle black with maybe 50% transparency something like in Red Storm.

Maybe the elevation change is influencing it or it's preferring direct direction vs a bit of backtracking. If the unit was in combat mode I might prefer it to stick to the elevation for combat bonus and go more direct, whereas if it was in march mode I would probably prefer it to take the roads and ...

If you encircle an enemy hex and you attack it with units from more than 1 hex then the limit before penalty increases as the units are attacking from different areas/directions and they are not too many forces all bunched up together. So if you attack from 3 hexes it would be 300 instead of 100 ...

There is some info on it in the manual but from what I understand..

A single hex stack over 100 gets penalty when attacking and when defending you can go up to 200 without penalty. Attacking from multi-hexes increases stack limit 100 per hex.

I don't think there is any penalty with them just ...
