I hope you can help me out here : I have now played twice the 1944 campaign as allies - and the game both time lose me out by 24/7 1944. I think I have a reasonable score until april 1944 - but then the game locks 6 out of 8 airforces to AVALANCHE and OVERLOAD, steadily degrading my ...

I have a similar situation - playing allies in big campaign 1944-45 . Have reached mid-June 1944 . Game consistently inform per turn that free italian units are assigned to.. but no airforce follows and units not shown in unitlist nor found on map? Any explanations to this or a bug?

Thanks for these speedy and valuable input - I definitely was lazy in overusing the autoplanning function - was too focused on air superiority score - and also now saw that the escort component has been too weak to prohibit a slaughter of MB/HB , especially in the 15AF ...
