Hi guys, I played SE in single player enought to be ready to some noob-level MP. I searched for discord community or something but I haven't found anything other than expired invitations in old post.

Can you help me? I have the GOG version so I can't play with the beta patch.

For what it's worth, I've managed to circumvent the serial check rather trivially in my GOG installation, so it seems I now have the full patch applied without problems. I'd rather not explain the steps here, as I feel the same steps might actually be used to circumvent illegally obtained Matrix ...

Per multiplayer, you do not need the same beta version to play vs your opponents.
In the numerous 'mp' games I have been involved with, some have updated to the latest beta versions & some have not...with no (noticeable) issues.
