Re: Printer friendly manual is corrupted

I'm not entirely sure what the "printer friendly" manual might be but there s a downloadable version which you can convert to a pdf. file and print it that way. I actually have the hardback printed manual but I seldom refer to it because it's far more straightforward to search for stuff using the ...

Printer friendly manual is corrupted

I want to print out the manual. Unfortunatley, the printer friendly manual is corrupted.

Is there a way to fix this? Or does someone have a non-corrupted document?

Re: Player Survey - Campaign Series: Cold War

In regards to the supply system, it would be super hand for someone to explain how those other systems work. At least that will give me ideas for how to script supply options like I have been doing for Vietnam.

I don't have time to dive into other games, unfortunately, all my time is spent ...

Re: Player Survey - Campaign Series: Cold War

Unfortunately, I've been awol from 2D wargames for a while and hence missed this survey. While it may be a bit unfair or even unwanted for me to add points afterwards, I feel the urge to talk about a few points:

1. The strong focus on 1985s is a bit disappointing and should also be considered ...

Re: Subsahara Mod

This looks outstanding! I have been away from the Campaign Series for a while but I feel the urge to come back. And what a comeback it will be: CSME 3.0, CSV 2.4 and this incredible mod! Africa as a theatre of war is so woefully underrepresented in wargaming.

On the cheaer upgrade for existing owners... (thanks)

Finally news about the Northern Storm part of the game. I am all for it to make it a completely new game with all three AGs included, and by having a dedicated 'new' game also providing long-term support for possible future DLCs depicting other areas of the world (not that that was announced but I ...

Beta sign up already available?

Congrats to the great presentation at the Home of Wargamers stream and definitively amazing news that the game will come out so soon.
Of course I didn't miss the info piece about the beta next week. Can I already sign up?

Re: [Suggestion] Automatic quotes for PBEM++ messages

Glad you like the system. I'm not sure what game you are referring too (most keep a full log of all messages) - it might be better to post in the game's forum.

Cheers

Pip

[Suggestion] Automatic quotes for PBEM++ messages

Now that I've finally jumped into PBEM play, I must say that your PBEM++ system is really a huge improvement over sending turns manually via email! And I love that you can send your opponent a message with your turn!

However, I wonder if it was possible to have the system automatically fill in the ...

I will also post a challenge or two on the Matrix PBEM page if you want to play vs a human :)

To anyone interested, I have posted three PBEM challenges if anyone would like to play a, not terribly good, human. I am very new to PBEM play and am astonished how easy it is. If you are sitting on ...

Re: WEGO World War II: Stalingrad - Major Update out now

Great news! But for people who haven't followed the forum posts, this might sound underwhelming and as if the update only consisted of UI changes. Maybe you should also mention the bugfixes and stuff like that? Or at least link to the changelog: https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f ...

Re: Manual is still bad to navigate due to the ToC on every second page

We have all the document pointers in the game's Help menu, so you can find what you want and have it up if needed in-game. I'll admit the documentation locations and naming are a bit confusing and kind of the price we pay for a printed manual, I guess. At least the FM PDFs are updated as we go ...

Re: PBEM++ problem (server?)

Hey guys, sorry for the delay. You should be good to keep playing I think. Near as I can tell our 3rd party REST library threw an exception that we didn't handle when receiving a response to the initial upload, but your upload was successful. Then when you tried to re-upload the server said you ...

PBEM++ problem (server?)

Hey there,

my opponent and I ran into a problem right after I did my first turn and uploaded it. He made his moves and then, while trying to upload the thing, an error message popped up.

Curiously, I received a message afterwards, telling me that it's my turn now and when I log into the PBEM ...

Re: Manual is still bad to navigate due to the ToC on every second page

No problem. I think a lot of folks miss out on all the documents we have, and there are Operational area guides on the content, forces, and maps being used.

I will make sure to check out the operational guides! I guess it's just confusing that right there in the main documents folder is a file ...

Re: Manual is still bad to navigate due to the ToC on every second page

I assume you are using the ebook PDF of the printed manual and not our up to date Field Manuals (FMs) that are PDF and set up like you are asking for with a single TOC (with hyperlink capacity). You can get to the FMs via the in-game help menu or navigate to the games document/FMs folder ...

Manual is still bad to navigate due to the ToC on every second page

When I, for example, want to use my PDF reader to search for all instances where "Supply" is mentioned, the search function spits out a whopping 157 results. This is because on every second page the complete Table of Contents is listed again. In my opinion, this doesn't make sense at all. Not only ...

Yup, we are on track for that. Tx for the interest in my scenarios :)

All of them look intriguing but that you actually included two American Civil War campaigns is absolutely insane! I am just getting into the ACW history, so it couldn't be a better timing.
For now, I am still mostly playing ...

Re: WEGO World War II: Stalingrad - v1.0.6 Beta Update

Always glad to hear about AI improvements. And that the official patch is coming along; after all that's when Governato will release his custom scenarios as well!

Now a tiny bit of sale discount (for which I am waiting 2 months already) would be nice, and I will finally give this game a try ...
