They definitely can engage missiles, it just doesn't show in the logs if they miss, as with normal anti-aircraft fire.aswa84 wrote: Mon May 29, 2023 12:37 pm Is this intentional? The manual seems to suggest that radar medium as should be firing against incoming ssms but it does not show up in the log

Re: Armor Schemes and Thickness
It is fitting the 1st post be about armor, there was a lot of it in the old forums. Lot of it is still actual, so you may want to take a look there. I'll link only one thread since it has a graphic or the armor distribution.

Re: Unable to launch airstrikes
Playing as Germany in 1929, I have no ship based aircraft but plenty of land based. However, I have never been able to launch an airstrike - the button is always greyed out :( . Can anyone suggest an reason for this, please? (I'd like to attach a save game, but I can't work out which file type to ...

Re: Aircraft.
How about three different options? Disable aircraft and missiles, disable aircraft (only), and disable missiles (only).
I had some other ones too, so this may end up being a large number of switches
For RTW2 I had
1. Weaker Aircraft(no Aerial Torpedoes, AP Bombs, or bombentorpedo, which was the ...

Re: Rebuilds, officers and autoresolve
Overall I'm really enjoying this game. It's a good step forward from RTW2.
And mentioning RTW2 brings me to a few of points.
First: I'm sure that in RTW2 a ship would receive an O in parenthesis when it had become obsolete and was due a rebuild. That doesn't seem to happen in RTW3. I'm rebuildng ...

Re: Aircraft.
I'm trying to decide whether to purchase or not. The aviation part is not what interests me. I know there is a Slow aircraft development button but eventually they will be in the game. Reading the manual, I see that there is an Auto select strike button. Does that work sufficiently? If I used this ...

Unfortunately only made it up to radar level 3, as I didn't want to refit in the (friendly) USA who has level 4, but lacks my anti-aircraft technology.
Radar needs a refit now?
EDIT: Also, you bought (were loaned?) Spanish destroyers?
Radar in RTW3(Honestly can't remember how much ...
