I think planes flying in winter are to strong, especially on barbarossa where the soviet doesnt have an airforce in a competetive game. Its said they would deal half the damage but they are often dealing 2 points or something in winter.
The Soviet (in WiE) is dying to Germany anyway when he comes ...
