A very rough simulation of the Iranian BM attack on Israel.

I think that intercept rate is wishful thinking.

Really...have you read any of the threads here about BM interceptions ...

Re: Naval and Defense News

"an intelligence center in Tel Aviv was hit and an intelligence gathering site was hit in the Golan Heights"

I'd like to see the sources on that. With reporters all over Tel Aviv and not a single report, pic, or video of it, I'm highly skeptical. Unless maybe that fire in Chile that Iran claimed ...

Re: Naval and Defense News

Iran announced missiles and drones were launched. They showed some launching. There's video of a lot of explosions over Israel. There is enough stuff to at least show that Iran did something and it was defended by Israel and others. I guess we can say that we shouldn't believe anything Iran says ...

Counter Resolution

The more I play Warplan and Warplan Pacific the more I like them! :P

They're great games with wonderful gameplay!

The only thing lackluster is the map and counter art — for me. And the ability to modify them substantialy because of the low resolution. It's a purely superficial thing that has ...

Flavor. Everyone likes sinking the Yamato and putting the dead husk of its paper counter on display to irritate the enemy.

AlvaroSousa wrote: Fri Mar 01, 2024 5:42 pm I thought about this early on. The problem is WarPlan is a corp level game. So what would be the point of doing these tiny raids?

Re: What can we learn from the Houthis' successful ASBM attack?

Its not my simulation. I think you are making big assumptions all the way around. You have shown nothing but conjecture around interceptions. Not choosing to intercept is not the same as an missing. Again, you have only presented, at best, a guess. You have not shown how many SAMS or what types ...

If they're shooting down $30,000 dollar drones with multi-million dollar missiles — that's a loss.

Re: DEEPTYPHOON (ALLIES) vs STJEAND (AXIS)

Overall this was a fun and very enlightening game.

Deeptyphoon has gotten considerably better than our first game.
Once the naval superiority swung I could merely watch.

I think when the game ended Japan still have 6 or 7 CVs and 8 or 9 CVLs...so a lot but the Allies had many more. And Japan had ...
