Re: Some Observations on the Current Game with New Patch

Been playing BTR since the 12o'clock high days. Current version is the best ever (thanks devs!!!). I don't think you will win "too early". Current AI is very conservative (especially in the daylight). My goal as the Axis is always to win before D-day ... it took me at least 6 campaigns before I was ...

Re: Rubber and ball bearings at 75 damage - What have I achieved?

Just to correct a point I made previous. I was playing BTR campaign as axis ... where Anzio and D-Day happened on their historical dates. However, I did delay the Allied AI breakout from Anzio and through the Gustav Line. For example, Rome fell to the Allies on 19-Jun-44 vice the historical date of ...

Re: BTR Production Control 1.06.66

My production control is allowing me changes again ... performing as I remember in the past. I am calling it user error unless I can recreate the problem. I was messing with DXwind at the same time while upgrading to the latest version, or possibly loaded up a game save from a previous version ...

Re: Rubber and ball bearings at 75 damage - What have I achieved?

My thoughts from gameplay experience ...

Engines are the short pole for axis aircraft production. Since there are few (if any) surplus engines***, engine factory damage at any level reduces the number of planes built. This become more apparent if you play the Axis side and fiddle with production. I ...

Re: Some Observations on New Patch

Currently 12/10/43, turn 116, I am axis (human!).
Score: 2/-1/14

Yes, Industry negative, at one point negative 2. I guess all that scrap metal falling to the ground is economic stimulus. Just wanted to add that after a slow Allied start (as mentioned previous posts), the raids are coming hot and ...

BTR Production Control 1.06.66

Bought this game immediately after Talonsoft release (back when there were like 5 rubber factories!). I play on/off ever since, and so glad it is still being supported ... thanks everyone. Finished an allied BTR campaign just yesterday ... new challenge when my wayward Berlin night bombers kept ...
