This beta version launches pretty much instantly.

Try starting the game from the RTW 3 exe.

Go to your Steam library so SteamLibrary > steamapps > common > RTW3 folder

and double click the RTW 3 exe.

This will remove the need to launch the game from the Matrix Launcher which may be the source of the problem.

30 minutes??? That is very odd, certainly.

a) Can you tell me what location you have the Steam Library that RTW3 is installed in? There are rare instances where having a non-standard library location has caused issues with certain game launches.

b) Do you have/play any other Matrix games on ...

I did not have any .NET version installed, so I installed the latest .NET version (7.0.x). After that, I've tried running the game again, but to no avail.
