Re: Weird Bug - Plane de-entrenchment doesn't work in singleplayer

I concur with Bo Rearguard regarding the weather. Also in my experience generally, Tactical Bombers do not de-entrench while Medium Bombers do. I therefore wonder if the [1] for de-entrenchment in Properties is perhaps an update oversight.

No surrender at 0% bug?

Screenshot (424).png Playing as Axis against a friend and the UK has not surrendered on 0% national morale. Is that right or is there a bug?

Japs took India in Dec 46, causing UK morale to drop to 1%. Sank an aircraft carrier and took Nepal in Jan 47, dropping UK morale to 0%, but they did not ...

Re: Storms and speed

Bottom line is that storms slow ships down, but in StratCom they do not.

On this scale, where one turn is 10 days, losing a day or two to just one storm should impact how far a ship can get. For example, if a ship has 9 calm hexes then enters storm hexes and if each storm hex costs an extra 0.5 to ...

Re: Different how?

I would agree that StratCom doesn't really do naval warfare that well, so I would hope that a game with the title "War in the Pacific" really tackles those issues such that the fighting of naval campaigns over great distances and long time-frames forces me to consider factors that the real admirals ...

Storms and speed

Not a bug but definitely an issue.

Storms in the game do not appear to slow down surface vessels, but they do in real life.

In a game about the war in the Pacific, I would expect the weather to affect ships movement (just as terrain affects troops on land). Perhaps storm hexes should cost an extra ...

Re: How can Russia have over 250 diplomacy chits?

Thanks for taking the time to investigate and giving the feedback.

I like playing CP as it is much more of a challenge than Entente, but I'm surprised Russia can get to 800 MPPs (despite losing Poland). It looks like my opponent has found a formula to ensure that CP will almost never win. I shall ...

Re: How can Russia have over 250 diplomacy chits?

I'm looking at the end-of-game situation. Everything looks normal except for Russia. It is a campaign that I opened (as CP) for anybody to join (as Entente). ID 407996. I have a few screen shots (if that helps) taken showing some stats and final positions before closing the game.

How can Russia have over 250 diplomacy chits?

Just surrendered a game (as Central Powers) in August 1917 and while reviewing the stats, I noticed that Russia had 215 influence chits remaining, plus 11 invested in the Netherlands, 11 in Norway, 12 in Romania and 12 in Sweden (so 261 in total). How can this be?

Russia had also produced more ...
