First thing i did was to look for the village of my grandparents... and i was surprised that Tardienta and Almudevar are switched in the map. I sugest "moving" Almudevar to hex 122,72. Leaving Tardienta where it is now.

I do see the BIG potential - maybe not as a complete next generation for WitP-AE, WitW, WitE2 yet, but as a nice stepstone for UV, Med-Wars, Finish, Italian etc as additional DLCs.

Probably getting ahead of ourselves since this isn't released yet, but with the "expanded map" for "future purposes", I wonder if this wouldn't be an excellent engine for a WW2 War in the Med. Is that maybe a future plan?

IIRC, someone tried to make a War in the Med using the WITP-AE engine ...

Is it WITPAE then? Thats interesting because Spanish Civil War was mainly a land conflict. Naval and air combats were scarce and fought with old and outdated equipment.
