Re: Stavelot Crossroad is a real challenge (small scenario)

I've managed to got a minor victory with 92 points (I lost 10 points just because I forgot to hold a single town, damn). Anyway, I think its a combination of reckless and lucky. I push forward towards East to capture a town that has 20 pts using all of my best tanks including king tigers and ...

Re: How old are the average Wargamers here?

Damn you're all are either older than me, or waaay older than me. I started my first wargaming experience in 2023, I was 21 years old, first game is CMO (Command Modern Operation) which I think it's a descendant of the old Harpoon game iirc. Then I started to pick up hex based wargame a year later ...

Which DC games should I take?

I've been playing DC Ardennes, just a few small scenario and it was already a blast! can't wait for full Ardennes Campaign using both side (US/GER). I'm thinking of taking another DC games since I think I like this series besides SC series (which is broader in terms of scale). But between those 3 ...

Re: How old are the average Wargamers here?

You guys are waay older than me :o I didn't expect such a dedicated players all the way to the 1960s. My very first hex wargame was Strategic Command WW1, then Decisive Campaign Ardennes Offensive and Warplan Pacific later on (It's all computer wargame lol) . Still trying to learn it but already get ...

How old are the average Wargamers here?

You don't have to say it "directly" you can just say "early 20s" or "mid 40s" etc. Im just wondering how old are the average Wargamers here, it said that mostly around 50s but I couldn't really trust it.

Matrixgames regional pricing?

I'm a new fan of Wargames and I'm considered myself a younglings, I've been playing CMO, Panzer corps, Field of glory 2, WDS, Warplan Pacific, DC Ardennes and SC WW1 these past 2 years (starting to know about wargame around 2023). All of them are great games, and most of them are from Matrixgames ...

Re: War In Spain !

I hope it only costs 40$ or so :) Matrixgames doesn't have any regional pricing, thus it costs twice the price of any average game here :(

Market Garden? Back to the East Front?

Pacific Theater?

Please spill!

The link in OP leads to Decisive Campaigns: Eastern Front.

Eastern front? Arent DC already covered up 2 games with it? Barbarossa and Case Blue? I hope it's either 1943-beyond, or the ENTIRE Eastern Front

Re: How steep the learning curve compared to CMO?

Thank you for the answer, already download the manual, I can say that WitE2 has a LOT of mechanics and buttons while CMO challenge lies on understanding how modern weaponries work.

Also, I found many tutorials on YouTube (fortunately) and so I hope I could understand it easily. Welp, it's time to ...

How steep the learning curve compared to CMO?

I already play almost 300 hours of CMO and I can safely say that I know about 60-70% of the game excluded the very tiny details and how Ballistic Missile works. Compared to this game, how steep is learning curve of GG WitE2?? I'm planning to buy this game ever since I joined the Wargaming community ...

Re: Game freeze every 2-3 seconds when land target destroyed

Okay, I'm gonna try to set it up. The thing is, sometimes it doesn't happen, but mostly the game will freeze. This save is when the ship is engaging the enemy, once the shell hit and the enemy got destroyed, most likely it'll be freeze for a brief second.

[FIXED] Game freeze every 2-3 seconds when land target destroyed

So when I do the air strike on the target, the game instantly freezes for a brief second; it's not just any land-based target, but also surface ship targets. It never happened before in the same version (I'm not using any open Beta version). I found it when I play this scenario.

Close combat or armored brigade?

Somehow I got interested in this kind of game, I considered buying Armored Brigade (the first one, because I didn't have enough money to buy the second one), but then my friend told me that Close Combat is better. But you see, there are plenty of CC titles, and most of them are interesting, I was ...
