Re: Minors "unified" or "annexed" suddenly unsupplied

Ummmm i have managed many times to fully surround minor AI troops and watch them eventually starve to death. It just takes longer than major AI, i think? I think they carry more food with them or something. Not sure.

I'm not sure if minors have any rules specifically pertaining to starvation, as ...

Re: Method to the madness

The way the river snakes around the capital could be really handy, at least. :P Got a turn one save we can mess with?
I don't believe the Spread Out option on world generation would help avoid this in particular, as it only affects majors.

Re: Gravity

If I'm a infantry soldier on a 4g planet, bullet range would be limited, I'd need lasers. Even to walk about I'm thinking exosuits like the lifter in Aliens. Combat would be hand to hand, or close range. If I'm on 0.6g moon, I'm jumping big distances wearing pressure suits etc.

Re: Gradual reduction in scrap generation cost inflation

It does mean that you suffer an opportunity cost for not scrapping continuously to keep on using the lower cost, or waiting on a pile of scrap points for the cost to dip. I think cost being weighted to overall PP production over the past 8 turns might work better, as that's the a big way you acquire ...

Re: Gravity

Would make sense if gravity had a mild effect on ground vehicle movement efficiency, though you might see not much benefit in rougher terrain for a lack of traction.
I'm definitely not keen on seeing what the effect of no atmosphere would have on petrol-fueled vehicles, haha. Increased fuel ...

Re: Vic, this "non-aligned forces" behaviour is ludicrous

This is turn 8 on a "city start, militia only, low tech" game - and it's GAME OVER.
The "independant non-aligned forces" are coming to kill me off:

That terrain is actually pretty dang favorable to defense with light infantry, especially with how not great militia ...
