I think it is much higher in ludendorff offensive in WW'1. I think event pop-up notificiation at the start of the scenarios for about HQ radius and limit in all SC DLC's in game would avoid confusion and will be good for QoL improvement.

I can only support this.
Either ingame or just plainly on ...

That is a great observation!
I appreciate you checking the documentation first.

In short, the headquarters in this scenario can attach to more units than in other scenarios. The reason for this is twofold:

-The scenario operates at a smaller scale, with Divisions and Brigades used extensively ...

Japan looks to have a maximum HQ attachment value of 10 for this particular campaign.


Okay, well that would certainly explain what I'm seeing.
I did know that som campaign could modify the existing rules, but since nothing was presented when I loaded it up, I didn't consider it.

1,11*(4+0/3) - (0,53*(0/3+0+0)) = 1,11*4 - 0,53*0 = 4,44 - 0 = 4,44 (which gets rounded down to 4)

The +-1 only gets applied after the prediction, so the defender will lose 3-5 points.
