Is some form of 4x doable with this engine? A WEGO Shadow Empire with this naval warfare would be great.

Also, some evenized fictional scenarios would be great too.

AFAIK, in the Unit cart (if is called that way), select "Show unit TOE" enough times to see the OoB in the unit cart. Then, right click in the one you want to detach.

I had the same question and answered it myself by luck.
