Not the behaviour I was expecting from the program. Otherwise I would open design from the folder icon when what I want is to see the current design as constructed. Opening for rebuild gets rid of the bulges etc.

Most of my ships have suddenly become 5-20% underweight according to the "Open Design " window: Compare with "Open Design for rebuild" for this BB: I can assure you I left very little unused space :). I think it has lost the original design and created a new design based on the current build but ...
