Is there any estimated ETA on 7.1? Sounds like planning is early days yet.

Am planning on starting another 7.0 game but wondering if I should just wait.

There apparently was a Czech Legion in Italy. It only formed for active service in spring 1918, and its numbers were formed into 2 divisions, with roughly 25,000 men total.

So it should form later, in spring 1918. Authorized in January 1918 and effective from April-May 1918.

Changing HQs to 2.0 max will be interesting.

I agree with teletabicus on Austrians. They did not desert on the Italian front. i would not even consider lowering unit morale on the Italian front, if you are giving the Italians an early artillery.

I love the Icarus mod!
I prefer to lose most of my games in this mod lately, only playing vanilla when my opponent does not like mods.
Have you been using the Blue Max unit graphics,and if so, has it been causing any problems? Can it deal with heavy artillery and stormtroopers?

Although I am pretty sure that I would actually have to win a PBEM game to be considered even a Middle-level, which I have not done.
Always optimistic though. Has to happen at some point.

I have been playing the Birdsong mod with General Balderdash. It is a blast.
It is based on Icarus,but has some additional changes.
Units are given real historical names to add to flavor, but there is at least one little nugget I have found. I will shortly go "Big Bertha" on him.

I have played the Icarus mod a number of times now.
It is very stable, seems nicely balanced, and is quite fun
The changes give interesting options that are realistic, and do extend the game until later time periods.

As stated, mediocre/intermediate player seeks opponent of any level, will play either side, or play mirror games.
Can usually make at least one turn a day, often more. Will play to conclusion, unaffected by crushing defeat, will politely enjoy unlikely win.
