This is a bit of a puzzle to me as well. I just went over the dependencies of irrklang again.

And it actually seems it needs the VC redistributables for x86 (32 bit systems ...

I have transferred Advanced Tactics to a new laptop using Steam and it worked perfectly on my old one but I now get the following error- I realise I can play by changing it to the legacy version (that works) but I want to play it as the up to date version- any ideas?
