I would agree that the later game is biased in favor of the Soviets and that if you start from an historical position in '43 then they should be able to win.
However there are morale modifiers now so that you can adjust that so I don't think that the post by Pat_ge is valid.

For the next update:

It would be nice IF all the hidden AI enhancements could be disabled as various option selections and the numerical 100/100 settings be left as the only adjustments for head to head/solitaire play.
