I have a question about how to conduct the Bialystok–Minsk pocket, and more generally about how to handle pockets in War in the East 2.

As I understand it, during Turn 1 of the Grand Campaign, the Bialystok–Minsk pocket should be created, and then fully closed on Turn 2.

Ok, so after a couple of failed first turns at the Road to Leningrad scenario, I think I've finally made a good one.

Any thoughts or things I could have done better?

That's my next scenario.

Even though I still don't get the Air War completely (I might stick with the AI for now), I'm just happy to shuffle counters around and get a win, even if it's an ugly one.

First playing a WitE game. Managed to get a Decisivo Victory on Velikie Luki scenario and a Minor Victory on Road to Minsk.

An observation that I had on Road to Minsk and I wanted to ask veteran players about It: my panzer and motorizad divisions were always AHEAD... And I mean AHEAD of ALL ...
