<t>US doctrine requires a high degree participation by junior grade officers and NCO's alike. When Higher command says "Take that hill". the units involved design and execute the attack. You may be thinking about the Soviet doctrine which require a rigid command and control structure as you ...

<t>I play both CM and SPWAW. CM is great..3D immersion, detailed armor hits..the whole nine yards. But nothing is as complete a game as SPWAW. So many years, units, countries, and combinations combined with excellent graphics and sound. For me the games are tops. When I play CM..it's the best...When ...

All good things must come to an end. I have enjoyed the Email forum. There were those times, too, that the shear volumn of Emails was a bit much. All in all I say Great..I had a good time and won't miss any of you at all... Cause you'll all be here, anyway...LOL

<t>I'm having a ball....I REALLY missed the Long campaign feature. While I PBEM CM I constantly play SPWAW. The reason is simple. SPWAW offers so much variety! I can't think of a single game that allows me to play the years, countries, terrain that SPWAW does. Combat Resoultion is on par with CM ...

<t>The WeGo system as used in Combat Mission is excellent. I expect it to be the bench mark for war games for a long while. I love SPWAW and respect all the efforts of the Matrix team. <t>I'm a long time player of SP and continue to play SPWAW with relish. However the game that is number one in my book is Combat Mission, the new 3D ground breaker. If you haven't seen it (and I noticed no one so far had listed it as a favorite) than do check it out. You can find info and a Demo at ...

Since SP 1 days I have wanted to start a long campaign against the Vichy French. Like a bolt out of the blue...I'm landing in French Morocco..a beach assualt against the French! I can't thank you guys at Matrix enough for this. I'm actually thrilled at this addition in 2.2. Great work.

<t>Hi VAShooter: I think you have it right...The games complement themselves. My hope is that Matrix will develope a 3D board similar to Sudden Strike but use the CM method of Combat resolution..plot/plot/movie. That way we can have the scope of SP with some (not all) of the 3D that CM offers<br ...
