Landing troops in a lvl 0 port

How do you land troops in your own lvl 0 port? I tried to bring in engineers to build up a base, but the TF always come back without landing the said engineers in the base.

RE: Why is this game so expensive ?

Agreed, it's like comparing Monopoly and any good old Avalon Hill / SPI wargames. Video games are today's easy Monopoly, CLue...games. We are the AH /SPI crowd that are seen as being a bit over there[:D] , way over there!

RE: Long Time Coming!

A friend of mine was mentioning a while back that we had talked about how it would be cool to have a computer version of WiF in the late 80s...it just took 20 years....and I'm also playing WiTP AE waiting for WiF or a AE patch, whichever comes first.

RE: The Longest Day Movie

The only good stuff in PH are the 10 min of special effects around the attack. Longest Day is riveting for 3 hours. The only better thing than this movie (LD) is the Avalon Hill game of the same title.

RE: List of User Requested Gameplay Changes

It's funny how conspiracy theories sell. Here's an idea: let's stop thinking that all government things/bureaucrats are evil and may be admit that humans can be stupid and make dumb mistakes without the help of any anybody but also could fix them without the help of imaginary ghosts.

RE: Why is this game so expensive ?

If you buy an xbox360 game, it will take you $60 and it will keep you busy a couple months at best. For $20 more, you get something, once again, that will keep you busy/entertained for years to come.

You could mod into a game that starts in 1936 and start a production war before the actual shooting starts, a little bit a la Hearts of Iron.
