RE: [WIP] River Crossing --- Demo Map

<t> Maybe the Russian T40 Amphib light tank would fit in this picture for '42? Also the Amphib PzIII? Not historical but could be fun.<br/>
<br/>
Historically, it would seem that small battalion(-) size operations mainly by Soviets who were setting up night time incursions which had to be cleared ...

<t> Mobius:<br/>
I decided to the try the KV-85s against the Panthers.&nbsp; Even though the Panthers were high above, I was able to move the platoon into a favorable firing position and engage with three of the four KVs.&nbsp; While the others were firing, I moved the fourth KV forward until it ...

RE: Map Maker Beta (Now Supports Labels)

Stridor:

This should be of great interest to those who are producing "historical" scenarios.
Or those, like me, who might want to label the deployment area.

RE: Artillery

<t> MR: Seems to me that including a statement of how you wish the scenario to be played might be good to put in the description.<br/>
<br/>
But I figure it is my game, I'll play it however I wish. For example, I have created some custom infantry units and I see some custom armor mods being ...

RE: Artillery

<t> I have good luck ducking the AI's artillery. By feignting one direction and veering off to the "real" direction. If you're the German side, the lack of the delay is a great ally.<br/>
<br/>
But I normally play generated battles.... or I open up a scenario and change the artillery to my own ...

Here's the map I was working on yesterday. The significant changes are conversion of some farm land to forest. The inclusion of larger heavy wooded areas.<br/>
<br/>
Edit: Forgot to mention the addition of several buildings.<br/>

Question: How ...

RE: AAR - Save the rail-line

<r> The German advance to the railyard has failed. The lone PzIIb is the only armor I can see at the moment. I will assume he will park near the flag. So the plan is to engage him with 50mm mortar fire and prepare to assault with 2 squads of regular infantry.<br/>

I have a MMG that should be ...

Yes, this is fun. I figure that playing the Soviet side and watching how the AI handles its troops is worthwhile.

RE: Map Maker Beta ...

Rick.

What would be very helpful would be an example of capturing a house in one map and taking it to any other map.

Everything I have tried, failed miserably.

Any hint or clues will be appreciated.

<t> One of the things I want most to do with mapping is to add buildings to a map that are not present.<br/>
