You guys are truely awesome! That V3.5 patch has got me all excited about this game again. Looks as if someone else has taken a page from "Matrix" and is trying to follow suit.

Matrix should be proud of the example it has set.

Thanks again guys,

Fighting Steel

Did anyone here ever buy and play this game? I just got it back from my dad and was going to play it but I can't get the V1.1 patch from anywhere (gamespot or 3dfiles). My question is this: Does anyone have the patch and can you send it to me via email? I'd appreciate it if you could. Thanks,

First off- Thank you ever so much Lars for taking the time to do this for us "Internet challenged" people. Thats the best thing about this community.

Second- If I get it in 3-4 days I will drop dead and never get to enjoy it! ;)

Thanks again,

"Desert Fox" was the first and "Lost Victories" is the second one due out in August / September timeframe.

Well worth the $25 I might add.

No, Paul I got about %20 percent before it died. I knew it was big but not that big! :)

Thank you for trying though. I didn't think it was fair to ask you to leave it up 10-12 hours anyhow fo me to get it all. I'll try to get it from someone else.

Thank you,

A glowing reccomendation!

<r>I've been playing SP since the first game came out. I loved SPIII and about fell over when I found that Matrix was doing SPWaW for free! Since then I have had every version since 1.0. <br/>

The great thing about it is I couldn't get them from the internet. I have had at least 3 people I've ...

Quick Question for anyone............

Can you not play two player games on SPWaW anymore? I just tried and every time I move both sides to human it makes it a PBEM game. I know we used to be able to just both play on my pc. Anyone?

Thanks,

1. They are vulnerable to infantry when you can get close to them.<br/>
<br/>
2. I counted the hits and up until the one tank was surrounded on all 6 sides it shot and killed 2 PIII's and moved 3 hexes after receiving 32 hits. I waited 3 turns before I ...

Matilda II's in the MC

<r>I know we've discussed this at least once before but I think it is a real bug. I have just replayed three battles in the MC and have gotten the same dang results. I attack M II's with everything I have and they are almost indestructible. <br/>

When I can sneak up some infantry, I can ...
