<t>Hi,<br/>
<br/>
Just to complete about the HEAT rifle grenade developped by Brandt (I never said they invented the HEAT concept) :<br/>
At the end of 1939 Brandt developped a 50mm HEAT rifle grenade. It had a range of about 100m and an armor penetration of 40mm. It entered in production during May ...

<t>Hello,<br/>

At the beginning I started that thread to expose elements about the French equipment, just to discuss equipment datas and certainly not to start a debate on "are Germans or US over/under rated" and things like that. I just try to bring in elements to improve the accuracy of the ...

1939/1940 French tanks AT performance

<t>Hello,<br/>
<br/>
I am just wondering about the poor AT capabilities of the French tanks in SPWAW. The best tank AT gun in 1939/1940 on the French battlefield seems to be the German 37mm which is wrong. For many reasons (1-man turret ...) the German tanks might be slightly better but the 47mm ...

Yes I agree with you but I lack reliable info about that precise point. As I said the single example I know of napalm use in France is against the Germans entrenched in the French and Anglo/French islands. Perhaps also against few Britanny pockets.

I think napalm had been used massively in WWII since 1942 but mainly on the pacific TO. Nevertheless napalm was largely used against the French islands still hold by the Germans after D-Day. On the western TO white phosphorous incendiary bombs had been more massively used.

H2H better simulates the artillery, as well as MG and mortars fires. Just my opinion.

France 1939/1940 OB : possible improvments

<r>Hello everybody,<br/>
<br/>
I have made a document about the French Army in 1939/1940 in order to eventually improve the French OB in SPWAW. I already send it to Jörg Löwenstein for the H2H patch. It contains also several notes, comments, pics, a small weapons "database" that could interest the ...

pbem issue

<t>Hello, <br/>
<br/>
I already posted this topic in the tech forum but I will more likely get a response in this one ...<br/>
We encounter serious problems when using the pbem mode of the game (version 7.1). The fact is that the retreat/reinforcment hexes are very often, almost always, on the bad ...
