<t>The biggest bang for my buck would be a player controllable limit on the closest distance a TF will move from a known enemy airfield. <br/>
<br/>
This should be controlled from the TF screen and apply to both movement plots and reactions moves. <br/>
<br/>
This will solve the problem of the AI ...

<t>Looks like a CV TF will react to the full extent of a max speed move. When you toggle the show ship move radius to on, they will react as far as the outer yellow line (consuming vast quantities of fuel in the process). <br/>

I would strongly support the suggestion made to put a player ...

<t>Can someone help clarify exactly what the current reaction rules mean in terms of actual distance covered? How far will a CV TF actually move in order to get into strike range of an enemy CV. In my experience it seemed a huge distance and kind of implied the distance was a full 12 hour impulse at ...

<t>Played my first game last night (Coral Sea) and had the same problem. US CV TF reacted from around 4 or 5 hexes south of Gilli Gilli to about 3 hexes north west of it on the wrong side of PNG. Result - exchanged strikes with the IJN CV TF (coming off second best) then got cleaned up by land based ...

<t>I am trying to fight the fights I can win I guess. <br/>
<br/>
All my ground troops in Phillipines and Malaya have been standing and fighting in order to slow the IJA down. I left the air force in Singapore in place and they have hit a couple of IJN TF's with mixed results. I withdrew the ...

THE WAR STILL ENDING

<t>I started playing a new campaign game this week, Computer Japanese / Human Allies. This is the fourth attempt with all previous attempts having been cut short by the war ending prematurely with the "Withdrawal of Allied Demand for Unconditional Surrender".<br/>
<br/>
This time I got to mid ...

<t>I'll vouch for the fact you can hit back. I just went in with a hit and run attack with the RN at Rangoon. The Japanese computer was busy running all over Indonesia and going at at Wake Is so I sent SAG with 3 BB and cruisers covered by TF with the 2 carriers in to bombard the base. Destroyed 35 ...

You Gotta Fix this in Ver 2.2

<t>I have just spent the last 2 weeks playing my way through a campaign game as the US vs the computer, just got to March'42 where I could start doing something and the war finishes with that damn US DROPS DEMAND FOR UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER bug. I now can't get back into the game to continue it ...

New Aircraft Data

I have noticed significant changes in aircraft data from the original version, but the data tables in the online manual seems unchanged. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on the revised aircraft data tables from the new version?
