Curious though, if he didn't want to continue making sequels to SP, why did he sign on again in 2014 or whenever it was? Maybe he lost interest again?

I wonder if Grigsby will be retired before ST ever happens. IIRC they were supposed to resume it after WiTE2, but that's been out for five years. 2by3's website hasn't been updated in 12 years.

Yours truly as a 22-year-old infantryman in Baghdad in about January of 2006. I was much too young to have been entrusted with that much firepower SP:WaW and the WinSP series really helped me along during that deployment.

I had just started high school when Matrix released SP:WaW.

Now I fear I'll die of old age before Steel Tigers or any new iteration of SP from Matrix or Slitherine happens.

I would happily pay three times that amount for a revamped Steel Panthers.

Same for Steel Panthers but, if Steel Tigers is coming, I am sure you will have upgraded top AAA graphics for only the invasion of Poland. And then, a DLC, another one, another one to introduce few more units for few more campaigns.


I wouldn't mind that, because after all it would be Steel ...

I still play and enjoy a lot of computer games like War Thunder, but turn based wargames have fallen out of favor. Which is a shame because they traditionally were; next to Rogue-likes, my favorite genre. Panzer General 1 and 2, the Campaign Series, Steel Panthers, the original Combat Mission ...

Haven't played Steel Panthers in several years now because it's just... too old.
