I have successfully loaded the game, but the photographs of equipment are not coming up. Any ideas on the problem and fix?

The side bar text runs beyond the box for the side bar, cutting off sentences of information on items such as equipment details. How can I resolve this?

Is anyone aware of a tutorial to supplement the one that came with the game. I am totally new to playing strategy games and have found the tutorial in the manual to be inadequate for learning the basics. Any help is most appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.

Ah Ha! The problem was fixed with the patch. Thanks Jeffrey for the response. Looks like the problem was a bug in the original release fixed in the recent patch. Off to playing the game!
