<t>Anything and everything by Stephen Ambrose, especially "D-Day" and "Citizen Soldier". On the East Front I would suggest "Stalingrad" by Anthony Bevor over "Enemy at the Gate". Also the book "In Deadly Combat" is a very good book written by a German officer on the East Front. Check out the ...

<t>Well,my two cents may not be worth much, but I LIKE SPWaW...and love the MC. I just finished up the MC and found it to be a real challenge and a lot of fun. Maybe I like playing so much that I don't worry about some of the stuff I see guys complaining about. I've preordered the Lost Victories CD ...

<t>In my mind, the historical data helps to bring the game to life. before each mission, I read all of the documents. Thanks for the excellent research and the pictures. I certainly hope that this will be a part of all future MC offerings. Again, thanks for the work. It is appreciated by us ...

<t>I've played Steel Panthers since the game first came out back in '95 or so. SPWAW is the ultimate WWII game for me. I've played Panzer Elite, Panzer Commander, Combat Mission, all the Panzer General series, West Front, East Front2,and all the rest. What the Matrix team has done is to create the ...

<t>I'm not the greatest player, but Ive had a lot of success against Matilda II's by...*pounding them with my PzIIIE's <br/>
*blinding them with smoke from PzIVd's<br/>
*assaulting them with infantry/engineers<br/>
The Matilda II was a tough opponent acording to all the material I've read about ...

<t>I am so impressed with the Matrix team. Your dedication is not found in any other group in the gaming business. It is obvious that you genuinely care about SPWAW and us grognards who play. I hope you guys never lose you zeal and passion for both historical accuracy and just plain ol' fun. I would ...

Well, I just want to say that I am still in the ranks of those who are waiting. I pre-ordered on April 2---now my status shows a June 13 order date and it is still "processing". YUK! My vacation is over to boot. Oh well, I'll still run to the mailbox on Monday.
