arena active defense

<t>I'm playing a hypothetical campaign, China vs. Khazakstan (I'm Kahazak). Just played a defensive battle. The Chinese tanks had active defense against missles, which was a 'cluster bomb' graphic in the hex just to the front of the Chinese tank, and the message telling me whether i penetrated it or ...

I knew you could do that in the mega campaign, but didn't know you could do it in regular SPWAW. If you find out how to do it, post the info here.

What is a Co-operative Campaign?

<t>This is info on co-operative campaigns, for those interested. It is also an attempt to solidify some terminology, so that discussions can be more clear.<br/>
<br/>
A co-operative campaign is a 'user' campaign, which is built as you play it. One battle is built in the 'editor', plugged into a ...

Loss of morale

<t>Another issue is that if forced to stay in combat over an extensive period, moral will actually go down. I don't know how this effected the germans, but the Brits had a tough time with it. Their veteran units actually started to deteriorate in combat effectiveness in late '44. I woulddn't be ...

Co-operative campaign

<t>All great ideas and follows along with what I was thinking. I wasn’t going to do the ‘greece or crete’ porstions, but the Syrian campaign would be fun. After that a good pounding by the germans in the spring of ’41, followed by the see-saw of the desert. I was planning on ending there, but would ...

Do you burn out in SPWAW Campaigns?

<t>I've noticed, with myself, that after 3 to 6 battles i burn out on built campaigns. They either get too easy, or my core gets mangled so bad i can't continue, or, i don't know, they just don't seem as fun. I don't think the last item is very objective. It is more Me than the battles themselves ...
