<r>As a grunt each fire team carried a dosimeter that was to record total radiation exposure, this info went up to the BN NBC officer. I think the plan was at a certain dosage units would have to be removed from a rad environment if possible. From my limited knowledge I believe that exposure is ...

<t>“In a super dense urban environment like that, how were you trained to fight?” <br/>
<br/>
-Pull back to a defensible perimeter linked to the British and defend in place (DIP = Die in place). A linear defense would be arranged of strong-pointed buildings. In my Company’s sector there was a 100 ...

<t>Those were fun - but still fairly easy. Maybe I've spent too much time with flash cards and my Janes pocket guides. If you made one up excluding all european and US gear I'd bet it would be a stumper. I've got a card deck from TASC of UAVs - those are really obscure - I'll make up a test with GTA ...

90%

The SA-7 Grail got me - I knew it was east-block by the uniform but I have to admit I can't ID many SAMs by sight - I'd feel confident for a friend-foe decision in 89, but now with some former soviet satelites entering NATO I'd be concerned.

90-100%

I couldn't tell wether it was the Dutch or Turk FMC MICV so i just put it down to Friendly Turk/Dutch. If this test was Friend-foe I'm 100%, if by nomenclature I'm at 90%

<t>Don't underestimate the Urban skills of the British and US forces in Berlin - 90% of our training time was dedicated to high intensity urban warfare, our TO&E was unique within the US Army for this purpose. We had the most sophisticated training facility on the planet. We cross trained at ...

<t>100% - all easy <br/>
<br/>
These tests are too easy as they rarely encompass anything but US and Russian designs. Throw in some french, Brit and Dutch vehicles and see how challenging it gets - And can anyone tell the difference between a Turk BTR-80 and a Russian one? All those old line ...

<t>Yes, Maj Nicholsons murder was fresh in our minds when I was in Berlin - Our Library was renamed in his honor - all those Potsdam Liason folks families lived in Berlin and we considered them part of our family. Whenever we (enlisted) were in a position to screw with a Russian liason team we would ...

<t>In Berlin in 89 the brigade had a Chem Platoon outfitted with M1059s (M113 with smoke generators attached). When training for a 48 hour defense a pair of those suckers could keep a very heavy and wide smoke screen going the whole time if the weather conditions permitted. The smoke they produced ...

<t>That is exactly what I would like to test out with a good game engine. A Scenario I'd like to see

I was a grunt in the Berlin Bde from 86 to 90 and would love to see how long I could keep the Berlin MDP intact - I think a defense of Berlin, breakout of Berlin, or defense and relief of Berlin would make interesting scenarios

<t>After finishing the first game in a generated campaign and making repairs I get the select theater screen but with no option buttons. The only way out is to Control alt delete out of the game. The campaign was Canadian vs german/ger/ger 43-47. It seems as though the game thinks I'm playing a ...

I've had this problem too. I play Ver 4.5. It only applies to units in my B or C formations. Their moral will be fine at the end of the turn and then with no enemy interaction they will rout. My solution is to Fill B and C formations with inexpensive units that I keep in my rear.
