the computer shop guy asked why i wanted a 120mm fan, i said 'temp soared to 71c in graphics card', he said, come back when it reaches 90c. 71c is considered normal for heavy work, a pc can survive to 100c before damage. thats ehy my fan hasent gone past medium speed.

tested for 2 hours.

it automatically adjuts fan speed, when my pc starts, fan at 100%(fast) then my 'target' speed is 'slow' 30%,during games like CoD4 and WaR it gets to 50% speed, from about 50 to 70c. a pc can survive to about 90c before damage,my fan tops at 100% at about 82c,it has never got close ...

done test during play last night, regular temp 60c, but during play is jumped to 70c,fan speed went from slow to medium. after about a hours play.
